CoinOpDad is my documentation of a journey started during the first wave of COVID, when my daughter noticed me playing Super Mario World on some shitty rom site and asked how to play. As any normal, non-obsessive person would, I immediately set up an arcade cabinet, a gaming pc, a handheld emulator, a raspberry pi, and bought three Nintendo handhelds. I have remained frighteningly obsessed with rediscovering retro (and some modern) games since, and will share my thoughts, such as they are, in some form here.
