April 5/2023 Doki Doki Literature Club

So – not retro at all, but Doki Doki Literature Club is absolutely worth experiencing. Deeply disturbing at parts, and utterly heart wrenching at the end… I’m pretty sure this is only the second or third game that’s ever gotten me to cry. Definitely not for everyone, but if you like indie horror, this would be right up your alley.
